MINISTER: We meet in the presence of God, committing ourselves to work in humbly and faithfully for the reconciliation between the nations, That all people may live together in freedom, with justice & peace.
We pray for all who continue to suffer the consequences of fighting and terror.
We remember with thanksgiving and sorrow, those whose lives, in world wars, and in conflicts past & present, have been given or taken away.

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found Was blind, but now I see
T'was grace that taught my heart to fear And grace my fears, relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed
The Lord has promised good to me His Word, my hope secures He will, my shield and portion, be As longs as life endures
When we've been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we first begun

Isaiah 2.4-5 "Come let us go up to the mountain of the LORD. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Come descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the LORD."

Minister: They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning:
All:We will remember them.
Please pause for a minute's silence, to be concluded with The Last Post
Minister: When you go home, tell them of us and say: For your tomorrow, we gave our today.
