Good Friday – what’s so good about it anyway? Can you imagine what the disciples felt like, having thought all their hopes and dreams for the future had been crushed? “They did this to Jesus: will it be us next?”
They didn’t have the luxury of knowing what Sunday would bring, but even still – Jesus knew. And he knew that through the pain, the mocking and the separation from his Father; His sacrifice was worth it.
“It is finished”.
